Case Study One
Name: UPS
Background: UPS is the primary shipper for Lands’ End.
Challenge: UPS was looking for a single source local supplier for promotional goods, yet wanted to offer Lands’ End apparel to their employees and customers.
Solution: Lands’ End partnered with The Corporate Shop, a MWBE entity, to provide promotional products in the Atlanta market, while Lands’ End provides apparel.
The high quality of Lands’ End is viewed as an extension of the UPS brand. The program has averaged 25% growth every year since inception.
Case Study Two
Background: Insurance company managing a Catastrophe Team consisting of 2000 agents and 1500 part time contractors that needs to be mobilized when disasters occur.
Challenge: Needed a vendor to support large scale needs in a very short time frame.
Solution: The Corporate Shop brought in Lands’ End to take the day to day program management out of the hands of the insurer which netted a substantial cost savings. In 2008, Lands’ End was named the official apparel provider for all 3500 agents nationwide.
